AFTER CARE |

Aftercare instructions are absolutely crucial to ensuring the longevity and beauty of your newly microbladed brows. It's essential to follow these instructions to the letter, as even the slightest deviation can negatively impact the outcome of your microblading treatment.

When it comes to post-treatment care, patience is key. You must remember that your brows are healing, and it's important to give them the time and space they need to do so. Don't be alarmed if your brows appear darker than expected in the first few days. This is perfectly normal and will eventually fade. By day 5 or 6, you may notice some flaking, but this is also nothing to worry about - it's just part of the healing process.

  • Do not pick or scratch brows for 14 days.

  • Do not swim (pools, hot tubs, lakes or oceans) for 14 days.

  • Do not exercise for 14 days (sweat changes color).

  • Do not receive chemical peels, microdermabrasion or microneedling.

  • Do not apply makeup to the brows for 14 days. Keep the area around your brows clean! Wearing makeup is totally fine, but you will want to make sure bacteria isn’t getting in your healing brows. Just be careful around the brow area.

  • Do not allow heavy sun exposure for at least 2 weeks.

  • Do not schedule a botox/filler appointment for at least 7 days.

The best way to retain crisp lines and even pigment is to leave them alone as best you can. For the first 30 minutes to an hour, blot your brows once a minute to soak up any lymph secretion, which helps prevent scabbing and flaking. Apply a light layer of the aftercare balm a few times a day so they are staying hydrated. You can rinse your eyebrows with baby shampoo gently once a day for 2 weeks. Avoid your brows with any active ingredient skin care products, they can cause the brows to fade or change color.

Finally, keep in mind that microblading is a two-session process, and touch-ups are crucial for ensuring optimal results. Your brows will require a touch-up session no later than 10 weeks after your initial appointment. Some clients may even require a third session depending on their individual needs. Remember, the better you care for your brows post-treatment, the longer they will stay beautiful and vibrant!
